The apartment was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for our Christmas stay. The owners had thought of everything and even left a lovely cake for us upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The location was ideal for exploring the area and there were excellent walks right on our doorstep. But the best aspect was definitely the stunning view from the balcony - it was truly breathtaking.
One minor issue was the plumbing - the shower was a bit dribbly and the other taps would sometimes have sudden spurts of water. Another small downside was the lack of footstools, as it would have been nice to put our feet up after a long day of walking.

And the bed, oh my goodness, it was like sleeping on a cloud! We felt like royalty in the huge, comfortable king bed. Another advantage was the warm welcome we received from the friendly staff, who were always on hand to assist us with any queries or requests. the hotel's key location also made it a breeze for us to explore the surrounding area and take romantic walks hand in hand. It was the perfect setting for a romantic getaway.
Honestly, we couldn't fault this hotel. It exceeded our expectations in every way.

The apartment had amazing views and the location was perfect for our planned walks in the fells. The host, David, was welcoming and made us feel at home. Best of all, the bed was enormous and the down duvet and pillows were luxurious.
There was something in the apartment that caused us to have an allergic reaction. It's unclear if it was a previous cat or something in the soft furnishings.

Incredible views and perfect location for fell walking. The lounge/kitchen windows offered amazing views. We also enjoyed the personal touches in the cottage and spent most of our time on the veranda enjoying the views and sounds.
The plumbing could use some improvement as the shower was a bit dribbly and the other taps had sudden spurts of water.
